Description
This contract Pharmacy Technician role works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to receive customers, review and complete prescription data, copy insurance information, file prescriptions, supply medications to patients, refer medical questions, and assist with product unpacking, labeling, stocking, and cash-register transactions. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent training and experience, a current and valid District of Columbia Pharmacy Technician license or proof of an application in process, and at least two years of verified pharmacy technician experience in a retail, nursing home, medical center, or hospital setting. The expected end date is October 31, 2026, subject to business needs.
