Description
The Contract Specialist supports faculty, staff, and the Office of Innovations Commercialization by reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing unfunded intellectual-property and academic-research agreements, including NDAs, MTAs, CRADAs, and material and software transfer agreements. The role manages agreement records, ensures compliance with university and federal requirements, prepares reports, and provides education on contract compliance. It is a full-time position in Norfolk, Virginia, requiring a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, with prior experience in research administration or technology licensing preferred.
