King County’s Road Services Division is hiring a Contract Specialist/Project Program Manager to support capital projects involving roads, bridges, drainage, and fish passage improvements. The role coordinates and oversees consultant and technical service contracts, manages contract procurements, develops scopes and schedules, evaluates proposals, monitors contract performance and compliance, and prepares contract documentation. Applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, experience administering consultant agreements and managing projects, knowledge of federal funding agreements and the WSDOT LAG Manual, database experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint. The position is based primarily in Seattle, requires office attendance at least three days per week, and is open for current and future career service, term-limited temporary, short-term temporary, and special duty positions over the next six months.
