Zoox is hiring a part-time Full Stack Software Engineer for approximately 20 hours per week, starting for six months. The role focuses on building and improving applications that automate safety-metrics generation and support Zoox’s safety evaluation processes. Responsibilities include developing scalable applications, collaborating with software engineers and product managers, and optimizing latency, CPU and memory usage, and database queries. Candidates should have exposure to relevant programming and web technologies, experience with a front-end UI framework or web framework, strong communication skills, and active enrollment in a relevant degree or certificate program. The position pays $30 per hour and is a contract position with employment through a vendor contracted with Zoox.
