Description
Newsela is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to own end-to-end quality for complex front-end applications, cloud back-end services, internal LLMs, and third-party AI tools. The role involves building and maintaining automated UI, API, and service test frameworks; testing non-deterministic AI systems; supporting production releases; communicating quality risks; and mentoring mid-level engineers. Candidates need at least five years of Agile software testing and QA experience, including framework development with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, and hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or related testing tools.
