Description
The NRO is hiring a senior Contracts Specialist to lead contracting officers and specialists supporting acquisition, facilities management, research and development, services, and reconnaissance satellite systems. The role includes contract negotiation, program-office liaison work, acquisition audits, budgetary and financial oversight, procurement planning, policy development, and proposal evaluation. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, and meet a bachelor’s degree and 24 semester-hour education requirement plus at least eight years of relevant experience. The position is based in Chantilly, Virginia, with GG-14 and GG-15 salary ranges of $143,913–$187,093 and $169,279–$197,200, respectively, and requires a two-year trial period.
