Description

Smart Shooter is hiring a Control and Algorithms Engineer to develop and maintain real-time motion and control systems for fire-control, stabilization, tracking, and line-of-sight applications. The role involves MATLAB/Simulink modeling, algorithm development, physical-system integration, troubleshooting, laboratory and field testing, and performance improvement. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, 3–5 years of control-engineering or control-algorithm experience, motion-control and dynamic-systems expertise, MATLAB/Simulink experience, and hands-on system testing and validation experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant field
Required Previous Experiences: 3–5 years of experience in control engineering or control algorithm development
Significant experience in motion control and dynamic systems
Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink
Hands-on experience testing and validating systems
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fire-control systems or developing algorithms for fire-control systems
Experience with embedded or real-time systems
Experience with Python
Background in the defense industry, robotics, or autonomous systems
