The role focuses on vehicle control algorithms, steering and speed control, mathematical vehicle models, controller tuning and calibration, test-data analysis, safety features, and resilience against communication delays, sensor failures, and actuator faults. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, approximately one year of robotics or control-systems experience, knowledge of feedback control and vehicle dynamics, experience with system modeling or identification, familiarity with electromechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuation, and proficiency in modern C++ development on Linux.
