Description
The Control Hardware CAD Engineer develops control and protection cabinet drawings, electrical schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and manufacturing and installation documentation. The role maintains CAD and electrical engineering databases, supports hardware engineers and system integration, manages design changes and revisions, supports FAT, laboratory integration, and site commissioning, maintains reusable design solutions, and supports as-built documentation and project handover. Required skills include electrical CAD, control cabinet and panel design, electrical schematics and wiring, control and protection hardware, I/O and terminal design, HVDC system interfaces, engineering change management, and manufacturing and installation documentation.
