Description
The Control Panel Assembler builds proprietary electrical assemblies and projects, including knockout boxes, panels, wiring harnesses, and wire terminations. The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, applying wiring methods, using electrical test equipment, troubleshooting assemblies, labeling work, and following lock-out/tag-out procedures. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of hands-on industry experience, electrical aptitude, and formal electrician training. The position generally involves 40 hours per week, may include on-call status, evenings, and weekends, and requires physical work with a 50-pound lifting limit and harness use when climbing more than six feet.
