Description
Alliant Energy is hiring a Steam Turbine Operator to safely and efficiently operate steam turbine generating units, boilers, auxiliary equipment, switchboards, and related plant systems during a given shift. The role includes starting, operating, inspecting, shutting down, monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, lock-out/tag-out, housekeeping, and assisting with training and maintenance. It is available at the Burlington Generating Station at the Apprentice or Journey level, requires a high school diploma or GED, and pays $50.48 to $53.40.
