Tigercat Industries is hiring an Embedded Systems Software Developer in Cambridge, Ontario, to research and develop embedded control systems, instrumentation, displays, and machine-control software for forestry equipment. The role involves developing, testing, documenting, and deploying C/C++ firmware on Linux, creating desktop applications and services, collaborating with hardware and software teams, supporting QA, and optimizing I/O performance. The position is a dedicated day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus experience with embedded firmware, real-time systems, and C/C++ programming.
