Description
The Controls Systems Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and commissions conveyor, automation, robotics, PLC, communication, and facilities equipment to support operations uptime and reliability. The role includes preventive maintenance, CMMS documentation, escalation and root-cause analysis, mentoring maintenance personnel, vendor audits, and building project work. It requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, advanced PLC and automation knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and an associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent is preferred. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with up to 10% travel, and the Arizona pay range is $38.75 per hour.
