Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is recruiting an experienced Controller for a government contractor in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The role leads accounting operations, a team of 10–12 professionals, month-end close, financial reporting, audits, compliance, payroll, and financial analysis, with an onsite schedule of five days per week and potential for one remote day. It requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least 10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, prior government contracting controller experience, knowledge of FAR, CAS, DCAA compliance, and experience with Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, or similar ERP systems. Compensation is $170,000–$190,000, and U.S. citizenship is required.
