Description
The Controller serves as the chief accounting officer for Associated Students Inc., CSUF, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash and investment management, and consolidated financial statements across multiple nonprofit auxiliary entities and student clubs. The role supervises multiple full-time accounting staff, leads audit and regulatory reporting, manages financial systems and procedures, and presents financial results to executive leadership and the Board. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, plus 7–10 years of experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a mid-sized nonprofit organization.
