Description
The Controller will serve as a senior-level manager overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations for a client supporting commercial and residential real estate portfolios and nonprofits. The role leads five accounting staff, ensures accurate books and records, manages cash flow and financial reporting, establishes internal controls, coordinates with external auditors and tax professionals, ensures regulatory compliance, and mentors the accounting team. Required qualifications include a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, public accounting or audit experience, QuickBooks experience, 8–10+ years of accounting leadership experience, and consolidated reporting or inter-company accounting experience with 20+ entities. Compensation is $160,000–$180,000, with discretionary bonuses, accrued PTO, and medical benefits.
