Description
The Controller oversees all accounting operations for the CDC Foundation, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, endowment accounting, investment accounting, federal grant compliance, restricted funding, internal controls, audits, and regulatory oversight. The role leads and develops the accounting team, manages accounting systems and process improvements, and partners with auditors and senior leadership. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, CPA certification, 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience including nonprofit fund accounting, and demonstrated experience with endowment accounting, federal grants, audits, and people management.
