FamilyWell Health is hiring a remote Controller to own the company’s accounting operations and lead full-cycle accounting and tax functions as it scales nationally. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, revenue recognition, monthly close, GAAP financial reporting, multi-state tax compliance, internal controls, audits, and financial planning. The role also leads or mentors accounting staff, partners with cross-functional teams, and evaluates accounting systems. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least seven years of progressive accounting experience, including two to three years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role, are required.
