Description
Food Lifeline is hiring a full-time, exempt Controller to lead accounting operations and strengthen financial systems. Reporting to the CFO, the role oversees the monthly and annual close, annual financial audit and Single Audit, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grants accounting and reporting. The Controller will improve internal controls, audit readiness, accounting systems and processes, and develop the accounting team. The position requires strong nonprofit accounting experience, including federal grants, Uniform Guidance, Single Audit requirements, internal controls, fund accounting, donor restrictions, and U.S. GAAP. It is a hybrid role with three days per week onsite and offers a salary of $110,000 to $140,000 annually, plus employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
