Description
The County Finance Manager will oversee Fulton County accounting and financial reporting operations, including debt administration, annual audits, vendor payments, grant accounting, federal reimbursements, financial reporting, cash management, accounts payable, project accounting, and financial system operations. The role also supervises Finance Department staff, directs training, evaluates financial risks and investment alternatives, and maintains compliance with governmental accounting standards and applicable laws. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, seven years of governmental budgeting, accounting, auditing, and financial administration experience including four years of management experience, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and an active Georgia Certified Public Accountant license.
