Description
The Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director and oversees financial policies, controls, reporting, fund and general accounting, accounts receivable, treasury, payroll, risk management, audits, tax preparation, financial analysis, budgeting, cash management, and grant-related financial reporting. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of financial or accounting analysis experience in a financial institution, with CPA designation, nonprofit experience, Sage Intacct experience, and an MBA or master’s degree preferred. It is an exempt supervisory position with a hybrid schedule alternating between Santa Fe and Albuquerque offices, travel as needed, and flexible evening or weekend availability.
