Description
Houston Parks Board is hiring a Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, grants administration, and internal controls. Reporting to the CFO and COO, the Controller will supervise three to four staff members, coordinate audits and Form 990 filings, prepare financial reports for management and the Board, and improve accounting processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, five to ten years of progressively increasing finance and accounting experience, and experience coordinating audits and managing accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, payroll, and investments. The position is hybrid, with at least one day per week in the office, and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
