LEA Consulting Ltd. is hiring a full-time permanent Controller to report to the CFO and manage financial and project accounting for an engineering consulting firm. The role covers month-end and year-end closing, general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, project cost monitoring, revenue recognition, statutory filings, budgeting, cash management, and mentoring accounting staff. Candidates need a post-secondary accounting degree, at least 10 years of experience including 5 years in a managerial position, a CPA designation or equivalent, engineering consulting experience, and Deltek VantagePoint knowledge. The position offers a $150,000–$160,000 annual salary, profit sharing, shareholding opportunities, comprehensive group health benefits, retirement plans, and a hybrid work model with periodic attendance at the Markham office.
