Description
The Controller leads Natural Systems Utilities’ accounting team and oversees daily accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, internal controls, audits, and financial analysis. Reporting to the CEO, the role also manages 5–7 finance and accounting employees and partners with operational, project, and corporate finance leadership. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent major, at least five years of progressive accounting experience including controller or comparable leadership experience and three years managing an accounting team, along with strong knowledge of GAAP, contract accounting, financial statements, consolidation, taxes, and internal controls. The role offers medical, vision, and dental insurance, employer-paid life insurance, disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, and mentorship, with a pay range of $130,000–$140,000 per year.
