Description
The Controller with HR will manage the finance department and oversee financial management, accounting, tax, payroll, benefits, audits, and year-end closing for a family office. The role also reviews employee expense reports, administers the 401(k) profit-sharing plan, prepares financial statements and tax information, and serves as a backup for the CFO. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax, 10+ years of accounting, tax, or financial auditing experience, QuickBooks proficiency, and strong communication skills. The salary is 160,000–200,000 plus excellent benefits with a 15% 401(k) match.
