Octant is hiring a Controller to lead its accounting function and serve as a business partner to leadership in a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The role manages accounting operations and an outsourced team, leads financial close and GAAP reporting, oversees audits and tax compliance, develops accounting controls and reporting infrastructure, and mentors a scalable accounting organization. It is an onsite position in Emeryville, California, with an annual base salary of $240,000 to $280,000 and medical, dental, vision, equity, and 401(k) matching benefits.
