Description
The Controller oversees the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audit coordination, regulatory compliance, and related accounting processes. The role also manages ERP systems, outsourced accounting functions, payroll reporting, fixed assets, banking relationships, debt administration, insurance and license renewals, and the development of accounting staff. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, at least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, and preferably restaurant-industry experience, a master’s degree, CPA, or CMA designation.
