Description
The Controller oversees the accounting department and financial reporting operations, including hiring and developing accounting staff, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accounting records and internal controls, issuing financial information, providing financial analysis, preparing budgets and forecasts, coordinating with auditors, and supporting capital accounting and planning. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least seven years of progressive accounting experience including multi-unit retail, GAAP and inventory management knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
