Description
The Controller will lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a large regional nonprofit’s Central Oklahoma region. Responsibilities include overseeing the accounting team and general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grant accounting; managing monthly and annual close; supporting grant and contract compliance; establishing accounting policies and internal controls; leading audits; monitoring cash flow and reconciliations; partnering with leadership on budgets and financial analysis; improving accounting systems; and developing accounting staff. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, significant accounting leadership experience, and experience supervising an accounting team; nonprofit accounting, grant management, federal grant requirements, Excel, and accounting-systems experience are preferred or advantageous.
