Description
The Controller will serve as the senior hands-on accounting leader for a privately held petroleum and fuel distribution and retail company. The role owns the general accounting function, financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, tax and payroll compliance, month-end and year-end close, internal controls, and supervision of accounting and administrative staff. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, at least five years of progressive accounting experience, and familiarity with Peachtree/Sage, NetSuite, Excel, and recurring accounting compliance activities. The position is full-time and based in Hauppauge, New York, with compensation of $150,000 to $175,000.
