Description
The Controller/Comptroller oversees the Club's financial operations, including GAAP financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end close, external audits, internal controls, compliance, payroll, accounting systems, and construction project accounting. The role reports to the General Manager or Chief Operating Officer, supervises accounting staff, and works on-site during traditional business hours with occasional evening or weekend work. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and strong GAAP and accounting software knowledge are required; CPA or CMA certification, private club experience, and board presentation experience are preferred.
