Schaefer Plastics is hiring an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations for its manufacturing organization. The role oversees financial reporting and close, U.S. GAAP compliance, external audits, inventory and cost accounting, internal controls, ERP enhancements, and cross-functional business partnerships. The Controller will also lead and develop the accounting team, support strategic decision-making, and improve accounting processes. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least eight years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting and manufacturing accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills.
