Description
The Controller will lead accounting operations for a growing multifamily real estate portfolio, overseeing month-end, quarterly, and annual closes; GAAP property-level financial statements; reconciliations; cash, treasury, audit, tax, and lender reporting; and the onboarding of newly acquired assets. The role manages and mentors remote and offshore accounting teams, improves workflows and internal controls, supports asset management variance and NOI analysis, and serves as the Yardi system lead. It requires substantial multifamily accounting experience, strong Yardi and Excel skills, and familiarity with New York City regulatory filings.
