Description
The Finance Manager will report to the Financial Reporting Superintendent and supervise accountants and administrative technicians while supporting the Nunavut divisions. Responsibilities include divisional closing and reporting, quarterly financial statements, audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, contractor invoicing, expense reporting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and coordination with corporate, CSD, and external auditors. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a CPA designation, 5–10 years of financial or accounting experience, mining experience as an asset, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong English communication skills. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a combination of teleworking and office presence in Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda, or Mirabel, Quebec.
