Formic is hiring a Controls and Automation Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for escalated technical issues across its deployed robotic systems. The role diagnoses complex automation failures, develops remediation and reliability strategies, leads continuous improvement and standardization initiatives, analyzes production data, provides remote and onsite support, maintains documentation, mentors field technicians, and collaborates with product, deployment, engineering, and vendor teams. The position is based at the Bolingbrook hub, requires a relevant bachelor's degree and 10+ years of manufacturing automation or industrial robotics experience, and offers a compensation range of $120,000 to $145,000 USD.
