Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is hiring a Controls and Data Systems Integration Engineer to design, implement, commission, operate, maintain, and upgrade distributed control and data acquisition systems for scientific instrumentation at the Linac Coherent Light Source. The role covers motion control, vacuum, timing, detectors, lasers, and EPICS-based software, and serves as the Controls and Data Systems Owner for one instrument. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of relevant experience, with onsite work and occasional work outside normal business hours.
