Magna Powertrain is hiring a Controls Technician to support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and control systems in a production environment. The role focuses on equipment reliability, downtime reduction, preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning, documentation, and collaboration with Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams. Candidates need an approved technical apprenticeship or equivalent education and experience, at least three years of manufacturing experience, and hands-on expertise with PLCs, robotics, HMIs, drives, CNC controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and industrial communication networks.
