Description
Samtec, Inc. is hiring a Controls Design Engineer to support its Malaysia Plating Operations by programming, building, troubleshooting, and leading electrical and control-system projects. The role includes maintaining schematics, working with contractors, designing and programming HMI and PLC systems, and installing and programming VFDs and servo motors. Candidates need 3–5 years of industrial controls experience, PLC, HMI, VFD, and servo programming experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a four-year electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training; a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology is desired. The position requires willingness to work in a chemical environment and adhere to safety rules.
