Description
The Controls Design Engineer produces control systems designs, material selections, sequence-of-operation documents, submittals, as-built modifications, and operation and maintenance manuals for lower- to mid-level projects. The role requires reading construction drawings and electrical schematics, collaborating with project teams, managing project-time and cost budgets, communicating effectively, and occasionally traveling to job sites. An associate degree in a technical field or 2–5 years of related building automation experience is required, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred. The position pays $36.00 to $47.00 per hour and requires a valid California driver’s license.
