Description

The role is responsible for designing, engineering, and programming industrial automation projects and processes across industrial, agricultural, food and dairy, municipal, and OEM sectors. Responsibilities include project conception, electrical controls engineering, instrumentation and controls hardware selection, control-system component sizing, regulatory compliance, project management, cost estimating, automation software and component programming, and field engineering, service, and commissioning. Required qualifications include an electrical engineering or related degree or experience, advanced PLC knowledge, NEC and UL508A knowledge, computer and Microsoft Office skills, communication and organizational abilities, and customer-service skills. Preferred qualifications include UL508A MTR certification, knowledge of PLC, HMI, drive, CIP, and cheese-manufacturing processes, and familiarity with other industries.
