Description
ABB is hiring an onsite Manufacturing Automation Engineer in its Albuquerque, New Mexico manufacturing facility. The role optimizes assembly methods, processes, and equipment; develops and maintains control, instrumentation, and automation systems; evaluates manufacturing technologies; tests control-system functionality; and performs equipment audits, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvements. Candidates need a BS degree in engineering or a related field, at least five years of manufacturing experience, and experience with control systems, robotics, automation, PLC programming, and troubleshooting. The position requires work authorization to work for ABB in the United States and may require work across three shifts.
