AWS is hiring a Controls Engineer to support the design, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and improvement of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) in AWS data centers. The role includes managing BMS and EPMS projects, coordinating with customers and vendors, supporting procurement and service contracts, participating in global on-call support, and developing controls logic and graphical user interfaces. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, experience with power management and monitoring systems, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows; data center project management and critical infrastructure experience are preferred. The position is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a base salary of $111,300 to $186,100 annually.
