Description

The Controls Engineer will support AWS data centers by troubleshooting, designing, configuring, commissioning, and operating building management system (BMS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS) controls. The role manages BMS and EPMS improvement projects, coordinates with customers and vendors, supports procurement and service contracts, participates in global on-call support, and develops controls logic and graphical user interfaces. It requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience, industrial controls experience in a critical environment, and project or vendor management experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 3 years of relevant controls experience
8 years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree
3 years of experience with industrial controls in a critical environment
2 years of general project or vendor management experience
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with HVAC controls or electrical SCADA systems
Understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate difficult situations
