Description
The Controls Engineer supports daily department management, labor allocation, meeting leadership, supplier communication, vacation coverage, policy and attendance tracking, ATS and labor-hour reporting, associate training and SOP compliance, area performance monitoring, operational excellence, production duties, workflow goals, SOP updates, work-area organization, safety hazards, associate coaching, and injury reporting. The role requires 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience, a relevant engineering degree plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience or 10+ years of relevant controls experience, and 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience. Preferred qualifications include industrial control systems, HVAC controls, SCADA, industrial communication protocols, engineering documentation, data-center or critical MEP infrastructure experience, and PE or PMP credentials. The position is based in Herndon, Virginia, with a base salary of $111,300 to $186,100 annually.
