Description
The Controls Engineer designs, develops, and implements electrical controls and automation systems for industrial material handling equipment, including AGVs, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, servos, variable-frequency drives, and communication networks. The role commissions and troubleshoots systems, leads electrical and programming project functions, writes PLC and structured-text programs, creates control schematics and system logic, supports manufacturing and validation, and assists with customer communication, cost estimation, and maintenance documentation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in automation or electrical controls engineering and at least one year of experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and electrical or automation work.
