Description
AST is hiring a full-time, on-site Controls Engineer in Tacoma, Washington, to design, develop, implement, and maintain complex automated pharmaceutical fill-finish equipment and digital services and products. The role involves PLC, robotic, HMI, vision, and machine-automation systems; software and control-system development; product testing; installation, startup, and acceptance testing at customer sites; and technical documentation. Applicants need an accredited electrical engineering or engineering degree or equivalent experience, industrial automation and machine-control knowledge, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%. The position offers $70,000 to $120,000 for onsite Washington applicants and medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
