Description
AST SpaceMobile is hiring an on-site Controls Engineer to lead one of its primary satellite subsystems at a high-volume assembly line in Midland, Texas. The role covers electrical CAD, PLC, HMI, VFD, sensor, actuator, and robotics integration; commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation systems; and supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive, along with PLC programming, industrial networking, electrical troubleshooting, and strong communication skills.
