Description
Avery Dennison is hiring an on-site Controls Engineer for its Fort Wayne, Indiana manufacturing site. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and serves as the primary technical expert for industrial control systems, OT networks, and automation projects. Responsibilities include designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems; managing OT networks; leading capital projects and equipment migrations; troubleshooting complex controls, drives, and network issues; maintaining electrical documentation; and training maintenance and operations personnel. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years of capital project management.
