Description
The Controls Engineer II develops, programs, commissions, troubleshoots, and supports industrial control systems for automotive test equipment and automated machinery. The role independently works with PLCs, HMIs, and robots; leads machine startup and commissioning; provides on-site and remote technical support; reads and modifies control documentation; and mentors engineers and field-service personnel. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least three years of controls or industrial automation experience, proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–40% of the time.
