Description
Ford is hiring a Controls Engineer to lead problem solving and root-cause troubleshooting for tooling, equipment, conveyor, robot, automation, and controls issues in manufacturing plants. The role develops and implements control-system improvements using Factory Information Systems data, coordinates installations and engineering changes, reprograms equipment, maintains automation backups, and supports training of manufacturing personnel and plant electricians. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of manufacturing controls engineering experience, PLC and controls programming experience, and the ability to work off-shift or on a four-crew schedule. The position is onsite and offers salary grades 6, 7, and 8 ranging from $72,480 to $162,120, with medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage; visa sponsorship is not available.
